Join me for an awesome moment from two years ago today where I met a hero of mine – Garth Brooks. A friend shared a few videos with me and I had to share with you.
Garth’s been an inspiration to me with his music, style and big heart. His music helped my family celebrate good times and persevere through the bad.
This day was all a part of Garth’s very first tweet for a private concert with his fans. He is so sweet, he hugged me at one point and whispered and said, “hey make sure you give Mom and Dad a hug for me.” I think we were together for about 10 minutes or so, this video is a few excerpts of it all.
After we sent the Tweet together he ensured Lauri and I had a couple of tickets to go to his concert where we watched from the side of the stage.
Amazing moment. So blessed to live this life.
