Four years ago today was a big refresh moment for me, it was the day I left Microsoft. After 16 years in Redmond, I was leaving and began working for Twitter in San Francisco. Not an easy path, but a change was needed.
Twitter was an amazing experience for me. I learned so much from great leaders (and friends) like @[698076875:2048:Adam Bain], @[207241:2048:Jeff Seibert], @[9102610:2048:Wayne Chang], @[734086770:2048:Jana Messerschmidt] and @[1765235698:2048:Ali Rowghani]. Really great opportunity. Best career decision, I’ve ever made. Pretty wild.
I made the most of my time in San Francisco. I found it easy to connect with so many interesting folks. Somehow I got @[566480611:2048:Prashant] to join forces with me too.
Two years later, I got talking to folks at Microsoft about coming home and work on Developer. Easily the next best decision I’ve ever made. 😀
I ❤️ the people I work with, the team we are building and the products we are building. I got @[566480611:2048:Prashant] to join Microsoft too.
A very unique time at Microsoft. Great to be at #MSIgnite this week.
Change invigorates the soul.
