Great to be in San Francisco this week for our Build conference. This week marks my first year back at Microsoft in Seattle. I’d been away for about two years to work for Twitter in San Francisco.
What a year it has been! I’ve been working on the hardest business and technology problems I’ve had to go build a team around. Getting a great team around me and some of the old band too. Working hard, but its fun.
The company I returned to is not the one I left. Thank goodness. 🙂 It is one that works together better, uses data, listens and is a humble learner. There is plenty of work to do.
I do miss the community and friends I made while in San Francisco, but I’m better for my time in this city.
Great to be back at Microsoft!
Onwards!
