Well after leaving Seattle Friday night at 7:00 pm we finally arrived in Delhi this morning at 6:15 am Sunday local time. We then had a driver take us by car up to Agra which was about a 5 hour drive through some of the most insane traffic I’ve ever experienced in my life.
It was an unbelievable drive, very surreal, I think my photos probably do more to describe the drive than words. As we made our way through the streets it felt as if I was in a movie, nothing seemed real. We zoomed down the highway, weaving in and out of cars, missing goats, cows, pedestrians, bicycles, people sleeping on the highway and the motorcycles. Our driver hammered on the horn whenever he needed a slower vehicle to move out of his way. The weird part was people did move over to the side of the road when they do that.
