So what do you do after shipping a new enthusiast show and blogging community? You go to mix.
You know, if you’re like me you hate the chore of packing for a conference making sure you have all the right sync cables, a charger for your phone, games for my PSP, music transferred to my music player. Do I really need all this stuff? It is only a 2 hour flight to Vegas from Seattle, but I really feel naked without my devices.
What a week on 10 — if you want to see all the shows from the first week in one show, check out our weekly compilation episode which is now online.
Many of the technologies and concepts behind 10 are things you’ll here about at MIX. Yes, its great that we validate, but there’s much more to this site than what meets the eye. The whole thing was built from the ground up in about 4 1/2 weeks with a small team that operates like a small startup inside Microsoft.
I don’t want to sound like a corporate shill (Robert says he owns that term) but I honestly don’t think it would have been possible to make this site happen without ASP.NET 2.0.
Anyhow, if you want to meet up at MIX, have a coffee and chat about the web, online media, community or even curling in Canada and you’ll be at MIX, just send me a mail — I am JeffSand at Microsoft dot com.
See you at MIX.
